Job summary

Fluid Recruitment is partnering with a locally established civil construction company in Canterbury to appoint a Construction Surveyor. The role focuses on accurate survey and setout across Canterbury projects, supporting construction teams on site.

You will use GPS survey, GPS machine control data and total stations to produce reliable survey information and clearly communicate results to the wider project team. Full NZ working rights are required.

Qualifications

• NZ civil construction surveying and setout experience required.
• GPS survey, GPS machine control data and total stations experience essential.
• Ability to calculate survey data from plans accurately.
• Good understanding of NZ underground infrastructure and civil construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate survey and setout support to construction teams across Canterbury projects.

The role

This is a key role within the Civil Engineering and Contract Management team, providing accurate survey and setout support to construction teams across a range of Canterbury projects.

You'll be responsible for ensuring works are accurately set out and survey information is reliable and clearly communicated to the wider project team.
