Job summary

VINCI Construction's HEB Construction in Tauranga is seeking a Construction Manager to lead project teams delivering major civil infrastructure, focusing on safety, programme, quality and commercial performance.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams on a high-value roading project, collaboratively managing risks and stakeholder relationships to achieve exceptional outcomes for the NZ transport network.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering large-scale civil infrastructure projects over $100,000,000.
• NZTA-scale roading project experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary construction teams.

HEB Construction, in partnership with Beca and Tauranga City Council, is helping shape the future of the city through the Fifteenth Avenue to Welcome Bay roading improvements. This major project will improve connectivity, reduce congestion, and enhance walking and cycling networks for the growing Bay of Plenty community. About The Role

As a Construction Manager within HEB Construction, you will lead project teams to achieve exceptional outcomes across safety, programme, quality and commercial performance.

Key areas of focus include:

• Providing visible leadership across all aspects of construction delivery on the project
• Ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard
• Leading and developing high-performing, multidisciplinary construction teams
• Proactively managing project risks, programme and constructability to drive successful outcomes
• Embedding a strong culture of Zero Harm, environmental responsibility and continuous improvement
• Building strong, trusted relationships with clients, partners and project stakeholders

• Extensive experience delivering large-scale civil infrastructure projects over $100,000,000, ideally with experience on NZTA scale roading projects
• Proven capability leading construction teams on complex, high-value programmes, with multidisciplinary exposure across earthworks, drainage, structures and pavement works
