Higgins, a leading roading and civil infrastructure company in New Zealand, is seeking an experienced Construction Manager for the Bay of Plenty Region. This senior leadership role will involve managing capital projects and overseeing a large team, driving improvement in both project and financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a passion for coaching and team development.
We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join the Higgins Bay of Plenty Region.
Reporting to our Region Manager, you will be based at our Mount Maunganui branch and play a pivotal role in our senior leadership team. As the leader of our civil construction division, you will oversee large capital works and minor projects.
Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of construction project and contract management including commercial and financial performance, client liaison and work programming.
You will be leading a team of 8 direct reports and a wider team of approximately 70.
