Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Labourers to join our team on-site around the New Plymouth area. This full-time role offers an hourly rate of NZD 26.00 and a minimum of 30 hours per week, with travel between multiple New Plymouth locations as required.

You will perform tasks including loading materials, transporting tools, site cleaning, assisting managers, managing materials, and operating power tools.

Qualifications

• High School certificate or higher or 1 year construction experience.
• Hard-working, punctual, and a positive attitude.
• Be physically fit and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading construction materials, tools and equipment.
• Carrying timber, tools and equipment to the site.
• Cleaning and carrying out minor repairs.
• Transporting excavated materials onto conveyors, wheelbarrows and trucks for removal.
• Assisting on site Managers and Supervisors on daily site tasks.
• Managing on-site materials.
• Using power tools and machinery when needed.
• Other general labouring roles as required.
