Job summary

Higgins Cadet Programme offers school leavers a paid, hands-on start in civil construction across road maintenance, asphalt, traffic management and chip sealing. The journey begins with a week-long induction in Auckland (travel and accommodation covered), then 12 months in your home region with rotations every 8–10 weeks.

You'll gain safety, technical and everyday work skills, supported by mentors, Buddies, and Career Coaches, with NZQA Level 3 qualification on track.
