Job summary

Auckland Zoo is seeking a Conservation Learning Facilitator - Online Learning to join the Conservation Advocacy and Engagement team. This role develops and delivers online conservation learning, manages our LMS, and creates engaging digital resources for schools and diverse audiences.

Ideal candidates bring experience in online learning design, Moodle or similar systems, and a strong commitment to conservation education with knowledge of the NZ Curriculum.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and delivering education or conservation learning.
• Experience with online learning platforms and content creation.
• Knowledge of NZ Curriculum and engaging learning practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and evaluate high-quality conservation learning programmes for schools onsite, offsite and online.
• Lead the development, administration and continuous improvement of Auckland Zoo's online learning programmes and LMS.
• Develop and maintain engaging online courses and digital content supporting conservation outcomes.
• Monitor learner participation and programme outcomes, using data to inform improvements.
• Support colleagues in using the LMS for learning, training and development.
• Collaborate with Conservation Advocacy and Engagement teams and external education partners.
