The Home in Walpole is a residential treatment placement for adolescent youth who need specialized treatment as they heal from traumatic events that have shaped their lives. Youth living on campus are part of a community that includes Clifford Academy, a Massachusetts Chapter 766 Special Education School. The campus spans 166 scenic acres in Walpole and offers recreational activities such as a state-of-the-art gym and walking trails. Our strength-based clinical services help youth manage their behaviors and prepare for community life.

The Home in Walpole seeks Residential Counselors to make a difference in the lives of youth aged 13-19 with trauma histories, developmental delays, and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder. How You'll Be Making a Difference
  • Join a dynamic team implementing our trauma-informed care model.
  • Support youth in developing skills for successful family reintegration.
  • Teach age-appropriate life, coping, and social skills through modeling, counseling, and techniques.
  • Participate in groups and activities to promote growth and development.
  • Engage in on-site and off-site recreational and educational activities.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience working with youth.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A passion for positively impacting children's lives.
Impact Corps

Residential Counselors can enroll in The Home's Impact Corps, a fellowship learning track that offers opportunities to serve vulnerable children and young adults, gain industry experience, and receive training. Successful completion may include bonuses up to $5,000. More info: bit.ly/3ONYlOg
