Job summary

Dilreet Transport Limited is looking for a reliable truck driver to operate our concrete truck (Class 4) in a family-run operation in Auckland. You will drive heavy vehicles, follow safety rules, and complete required paperwork while delivering goods to customers on time.

We provide full training and supervision, uniform and PPE, and a drug-free workplace. Candidates should be physically fit, able to work up to 70 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, and capable of working without supervision.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 4 driver's licence.
• Must be able to drive manual transmission.
• One year of truck driving experience.
• Able to work weekends.
• Able to clear the drug and criminal history check.
• Should be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
• Willing to work up to 70 hours per week, Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Driving heavy vehicles.
• Ensuring compliance with vehicle load limits and safety regulations.
• Completing the necessary paperwork as required under legislation and business procedures.
• Delivering goods to specified customers within a specified time frame. To assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Maintaining the truck in a clean and tidy condition to comply with standard industry requirements.
• Filling the logbook daily and handing in a copy fortnightly to the office.
• Picking up the manifest/paperwork from dispatch for delivery.
• Washing the truck after every load.
• Full training and supervision will be provided in log truck driving.
• Uniform and PPE gear are supplied.
• Health and safety conscious, motivated, physically fit and capable of working up to 70 hours per week.
