Job summary

Motion Recruitment – Whangārei, North Island is seeking a physically fit and reliable person to join a small team specialising in concrete grinding and polishing for new builds, renovations and commercial projects. Training is provided and attitude matters more than prior experience.

The role runs Monday to Friday with 7am starts, up to 50 hours per week, and occasional out-of-town work with expenses paid. Successful candidates will assist with grinding, operate a Class 2 vehicle, load/unload

Qualifications

• Current Class 2 Driver Licence.
• Good mechanical aptitude and confidence using tools.
• Previous labouring, construction and/or driving experience.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Physical fitness and a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with concrete grinding and polishing projects.
• Operating a Class 2 Vehicle.
• Load, unload and set up tools and machinery.
• Carry out general labouring and site clean-up duties.
• Using hand and power tools to complete projects.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship on every job.
