Expressions of Interest: Computer Programming & AI Tutor (NCEA Level 2 & 3 and Business Skills Based learning)

Productive Recruitment is seeking expressions of interest on behalf of our client for a dynamic and knowledgeable Tutor in Computer Programming AI and from time to time business admin and marketing. This role is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate young people and people in the Greymouth community, while helping shape the future of digital learning on the West Coast.

About the Role

  • Deliver one day per week during term time, based in Greymouth.
  • Teach NCEA Level 2 & 3 students in computer programming, web design, and AI applications.
  • Engage with learners from diverse backgrounds, adapting your teaching style to meet a wide range of needs.
  • Additional contract-based opportunities may be available for wider community IT/AI/Business Admin/Marketing courses.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in computer programming, AI, and digital technologies.
  • Skilled in facilitation and teaching – especially youth and learners from different educational backgrounds.
  • Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must successfully pass a Police Check under the Vulnerable Children’s Act.
