Job summary

ACORN GROUP is seeking a Compliance & Merchandising Support role in Auckland. The position supports the Sales function by ensuring stock availability, proper display planning, and compliance checks across stores to maximise sales opportunities.

Key duties include visiting stores, maintaining stock levels, arranging displays, and introducing new products on shelves. The role requires 3+ years in merchandising, strong organisation, and good communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in merchandising.
• FMCG industry experience preferred.
• Be clean, tidy and organised.
• Excellent organisational skills with proactive approach to deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Health and Safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Check orders as required and communicate between store and Senior Territory Manager.
• Visit various stores as directed and perform required duties in Merchandising, Compliance checking, display planning and building.
• Ensure set levels of stock are maintained in each store with dates rotated as needed.
• Ensure products are presented in a tidy and professional manner.
• Provide assistance with relays and new store set ups when required.
• Visit various stores as directed and get stock onto shelves as required.
• Introduce new products to shelf and expand the area allocated to products to increase presence and therefore sales where appropriate.
• Provide additional sales coverage in the Auckland Region, traveling as required.
• Maintain excellent communication between customers and the company at all times.
• Inform manager of any issues or concerns as they arise during store visits.
