Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or social care preferred.
• Understanding of basic health and safety principles in a care setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring clients maintain adequate nutrition and hydration.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful social interaction and activities.
• Assist clients with mobility, including transferring and walking, using assistive devices as needed.
• Monitor clients' well-being, recognizing and reporting changes in their physical or emotional state to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping and laundry.
