Job summary

Bupa Bethesda Care Home in Christchurch is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to support daily kitchen operations. You will prepare and bake food per recipes, maintain high presentation standards, and contribute to smooth meal service in a caring environment.

Key duties include food prep, dishwashing, and following hygiene and safety guidelines. A supportive training program is provided and weekend shifts are included.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Experience following established recipes.
• Proactive team player who can work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Empathetic and passionate about resident wellbeing.
• Available to work rotating rostered shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation.
