Job summary

Radius Care in Tauranga is seeking a Part Time Healthcare Assistant to provide exceptional care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. You will build meaningful relationships with residents and families, support care plans, and participate in a supportive team. Full training is provided.

The role requires a New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (desirable), strong communication, and flexibility to work a 20-hour week on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (desirable).
• Experience with resident care and empathy.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Flexible to rostered shifts.

Responsibilities

• Undertake personal cares and promote resident independence.
• Complete delegated tasks promptly and accurately.
• Respond to resident requests with relevant information.
• Maintain and update resident healthcare records.
• Assist with handover of residents at shift changes.
