Job summary

MASH Trust in Palmerston North is seeking a part-time Support Worker to assist individuals in their daily activities and provide personal care support. The role offers a structured schedule with a mix of day and evening shifts, and a strong emphasis on person-centred care.

You will work as part of a supportive team, with opportunities for on-the-job training, including First Aid, de-escalation, and potential further qualifications funded by MASH Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience with challenging behaviours in Disability space.

• Professional, honest, reliable team player.
• Ability to perform personal cares (showering and dressing).
• Full NZ Driver Licence required.
• NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing preferred or willingness to gain funded by MASH Trust.
