Job summary

Heritage Lifecare's Redroofs Lifecare in Dunedin invites applications for a caring Healthcare Support Worker. This casual role covers AM, PM, night and weekend shifts, providing compassionate support to our residents in a warm, respectful environment.

You will have proven caregiving experience, NZQA Health & Wellbeing qualification or equivalent, strong communication skills, and a genuine love for helping people. Join a whānau-oriented team committed to high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience caring for others, ideally within an aged care environment.
• Minimum NZQA Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or an equivalent New Zealand or overseas qualification (e.g. Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma in Nursing)
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine love for helping people, excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and positive attitude.
• A passion for continuous improvement, with a sound understanding of health and safety procedures.
