Job summary

Radius Care, via R-Connect, seeks Healthcare Assistants for temporary assignments across diverse aged care facilities in the Wellington region. This casual on-call role means you’ll be deployed to assignments as available, with work confirmed by shifts and your availability.

You must be a NZ citizen or resident (or hold open work conditions) and have a current NZ driver's license. Reporting to the charge nurse, you will assist with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities while

Qualifications

• Aged care experience is required.
• NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent).
• Good written and verbal communication skills; empathy for the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the charge nurse and completing delegated tasks in a timely manner
• Residents' personal care tasks, i.e. hygiene, grooming, toileting, shaving, brushing of teeth and hair
