A family-owned homecare provider is seeking a Support Worker in Nelson, New Zealand. This community-based role involves assisting individuals with personal care, supporting exercise programs, and medication. We offer a range of employment opportunities including casual, part-time, and full-time positions, which will be discussed further during the recruitment process.
As this is community-based work, rotating rosters would be involved including am, pm and weekend work. Your preferred hours of work can be discussed during the recruitment process.
The duration of these hours may vary, ranging from shorter to longer periods, depending on the specific needs of the people we support.
You are a calm but confident natured individual who can demonstrate resilience and understand the challenges of service users. There are many responsibilities associated with being a support worker which can be challenging and fulfilling. It is rewarding when you are part of the support that enables a person to live their best lives in the community.
