Communications & Engagement Manager (12-month contract)

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Communications & Engagement Manager to join their dynamic team based in Auckland. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing economic resilience in the Pacific through increasing innovation and diversification in the private sector. This position provides an excellent platform for leveraging resources to deliver Sustainable Development Goal outcomes in the Pacific.

What you'll do:

  1. Support the establishment and delivery phase of a program in the Pacific.
  2. Extend pipelines for building ideas and concepts, assess proposals, conduct due diligence, and facilitate connections with Private Sector development networks.
  3. Support projects, contribute to quarterly reports, and aid in the continuous development of the knowledge base.

What you bring:

  • Knowledge of business models and commercial drivers.
  • Experience engaging with the Pacific region.
  • Knowledge of private sector development programmes, including purpose, objectives, design, and delivery.
  • Proven experience in project, programme, or portfolio coordination.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
