Livestock Improvement Corporation in Hamilton is seeking a commercially minded finance professional to join the Commercial Team as part of Support Services. You will drive financial reporting, analysis, and partnering with business units to inform decision making and improve performance.

You’ll work with SAP, B1 and Adaptive, translate data into insights, and support budgeting, forecasting and strategic plans.

Formación

• A relevant tertiary qualification and CA qualification (or equivalent professional membership), with at least three years' experience in an accounting or commercial finance role.
• Strong management accounting knowledge, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and financial performance management.
• Highly developed analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and provide practical commercial recommendations.
• Advanced Excel capability and experience with ERP/financial systems to support reporting and analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate financial information into clear business insights.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Collaborative and proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver accurate, timely, and reliable financial reporting through review, reconciliation, and analysis of financial data.
• Support core management accounting activities and maintain the integrity of financial information.
• Partner with Business Unit leaders to provide meaningful commercial insights, performance reporting, and decision support.
• Contribute to budgets, forecasts, and business plans that drive organisational performance.
• Translate financial and operational data into actionable insights and identify risks, opportunities, trends and performance drivers.
• Support and upskill business users in financial systems and reporting tools (SAP, B1, Adaptive) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
