Job summary

Franklin Vets Beachlands is seeking a Diploma-qualified Veterinary Nurse with a minimum of three years of experience to join our coastal team. You will provide high-quality nursing care, support our veterinarians, and deliver outstanding service to pets and their families.

In our collaborative practice, you’ll work with a tight-knit team of vets, nurses, and client services to ensure excellence in medical and surgical care. A friendly, patient, and proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma-qualified Veterinary Nurse with at least 3 years' experience.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
• Strong client communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing procedures under guidance of veterinarians.
• Assist with surgical procedures and monitor anaesthesia.
• Collect and submit diagnostic samples.
• Assist with X-rays and patient monitoring and treatment.
• Place IV catheters.
• Conduct veterinary nurse consults and advise on pet health and wellbeing.
