Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC operator in a manufacturing environment (ideally building industry products - wood and metal).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and documents.
• Understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate the CNC machines to perform tasks such as routing, profiling, folding, cutting.
• Read customer drawings and mechanical drawings to determine specifications.
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
• Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate any numbers of parts.
• Monitor the machines while they execute tasks and make adjustments to improve results.
• Create and implement routine maintenance checklists and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process is complete.
• Maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality and uphold Health & Safety.
