Job summary
New Zealand Defence Force in Auckland/Wellington seeks an Engineer for the Cloud Operations team to deliver, support, and improve cloud and on-premise platform services underpinning NZDF. You will work in an agile product team to implement and enhance cloud technologies, automation, and governance, collaborating with product teams, operations, customers, and vendors.

Qualifications
- Experience across Windows Server, AD and Azure.
- Experience with IaC and automation tooling.
- DevOps practices and Azure DevOps familiarity.
- Security-conscious engineering and governance.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain cloud platform services and on-premise platform services.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, problems and service requests.
- Implement new solutions and product enhancements.
- Contribute to automation, IaC and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve performance, resilience and customer experience.
- Maintain system documentation and procedures.
