We’re looking for an experienced Azure Migration Architect to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of scalable, secure cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. This is a senior-level role that blends strategic thinking with hands-on technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Architect Azure solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep
• Design CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
• Manage repositories and deployments with Nexus and ArgoCD
• Integrate monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Grafana
• Implement security controls with Azure Security Center, Key Vault, Sentinel, and Defender for Cloud
• Optimize performance and cost using Azure Advisor, Cost Management, and Autoscale
• Lead container orchestration with AKS and Docker
• Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless cloud adoption and governance

Skills

• Extensive experience in Azure architecture and migration
• Deep understanding of Azure cloud security and compliance

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins
• Familiarity with Grafana, AppDynamics
• Knowledge of Azure networking (Virtual Network, Load Balancer)

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud architecture with hands-on Azure experience
• Strong scripting and automation background
• Azure certifications highly preferred

This role is a Fulltime permanent role working in a hybrid environment, based in Auckland.
