Job summary

Access Community Health is seeking a Clinical Team Leader in Dunedin to guide and supervise a team of registered and enrolled nurses, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care across the Dunedin region. The role involves clinical oversight, service delivery governance, and occasional travel.

You will lead change, foster a high-performing team, and ensure contractual and best-practice standards are met while delivering culturally safe, consent-based care that respects whanau involvement.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate.
• 5+ years of practical nursing experience (Community Nursing preferred).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a leadership or management role.
• Full driver’s licence and strong IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, manage and lead a multi-disciplinary team in a flexible service environment.
• Oversee service delivery in alignment with contract specifications.
• Support complex care planning, high-needs assessments and clinical decision-making.
• Drive staff development, performance and team wellbeing.
• Coordinate with regional teams to optimise workflows and excellence.
• Manage complaints, exception reporting and continuous quality improvements.
