Are you a seasoned Registered Nurse ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? I’m recruiting for a Clinical Services Manager to join a well-established 85-bed care home and hospital in Gisborne. This is a unique opportunity to lead clinical excellence in a facility that values compassion, culture, and continuous improvement.

Your Role at a Glance

As Clinical Services Manager, you’ll be the clinical backbone of the facility—providing strategic oversight, mentoring staff, and ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care. You’ll work closely with the Facility Manager and a strong leadership team to drive quality outcomes and foster a safe, supportive environment for both residents and staff.

Key Focus Areas
  • Champion clinical best practice and compliance across the facility
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of nurses and caregivers
  • Oversee care planning, audits, and documentation systems (interRAI, Medi-Map, eCase)
  • Manage clinical resources and ensure efficient supply use
  • Support continuous improvement and risk management initiatives
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities

Who We’re Looking For
  • NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate
  • 3–5 years’ post-registration experience, ideally in aged care
  • Proven leadership and team development experience

  • Confident with clinical tech platforms (or willing to learn)
  • Compassionate, proactive, and a natural communicator
  • Experience in dementia care is a bonus
