Clinical Research Technician (Nursing Assistant)

Established in 2020 through the merger of Auckland Clinical Studies (ACS) and Christchurch Clinical Studies Trust (CCST), NZCR is at the forefront of early-phase clinical research in New Zealand. With over 35 years of combined research excellence, we have successfully completed 750 trials involving 15,000 participants, showcasing our commitment to advancing medical research.

Our physician-led, world-class research units in Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, and Hamilton conduct complex studies in both healthy participants and patient populations. Partnering with global pharmaceutical and biotech companies, we deliver excellence in clinical research and explore potential new medicines. The Role

Assist nursing staff with clinical procedures including vital signs, ECGs, and urinalysis per study protocols.

Enter accurate real-time data into participant records and ensure quality control measures.

Complete tasks promptly within protocol deadlines.

Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in ward areas.

Deliver standardized meals to participants, adhering to dietary restrictions.

Support senior nursing staff and perform additional tasks as directed.

Adhere to NZCR Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Working Procedures consistently.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated training or experience in a related field.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficient in following defined processes.
  • Availability for flexible hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and participants.
  • Professional and personable communication skills.
  • Ability to follow directions promptly and accurately.
