We have a role available for a capable pharmacist to provide a clinical pharmacy service to our patients at Tauranga Hospital. In this role, you'll provide pharmacy services to patients at our Tauranga Hospital, supporting a large community in a fast growing city. You will be predominantly based at Tauranga, but there maybe be some travel to our smaller Whakatane site to support your learning and development. Its the best of both worlds.
Our experienced clinical team are managing a growing service. We can support your development across multiple aspects of hospital pharmacy practice.
The applicant must be a team player, with a passion for clinical pharmacy and have excellent communication skills. All pharmacists at Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty work with multi-disciplinary teams as part of their medicines management roles. This role also supports dispensary services and includes participation in weekend shifts if rostered.
The successful applicant will be patient focused, have excellent communication skills and be willing to share their knowledge. Participation in on call and weekend roster is an expectation. You must be registered or be able to register with the Pharmacy Council of NZ.
