Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years clinical experience in nutrition.
• Registered Dietitian credential and state licensure required; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes goals and oversees clinical nutrition care under medical direction.
• Participates in Performance Improvement initiatives across the health system.
• Hires, leads, coaches, trains, and develops clinical nutrition staff.
• Manages department budget and leads margin-improvement initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies (federal, state, JCAHO).
• Provides medical nutrition therapy in absence of dietitian staff.
