Job Description:

We\'ve got a rare leadership opportunity in our Boulcott Care Centre for a Clinical Nurse Lead.

Reporting to the Care Centre Manager, this role will help to provide leadership, support, and clinical guidance to our incredible Care Centre team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in providing clinical guidance, day to day direction, and leadership to the Care Centre team.
• Working closely with Care Centre Manager to help support safe operation of the care team.
• Active involvement with the Summerset quality management programme.
• Consult with residents and their advocates to establish shared expectations of care and service delivery
• Act as a clinical liaison for health care team members with a key focus on the primary care team, pharmacists, podiatrists, physiotherapist, dietitian, and specialist services that are required for individual residents.

This is a full time role working Monday - Friday.

Qualifications:

You\’ll bring experience in a clinical environment with a deep understanding of the aged care sector and Te Whatu Ora standards. You\’ll be an experienced Clinical Nurse Lead with solid aged care experience in New Zealand.

Other attributes include:

• A Registered Nurse with a current NZNC practising certificate and your PDRP achieved to level 2-4
• A high degree of clinical expertise ideally in the aged care sector
• Computer literacy including clinical care systems
• A team player with a strong commitment to be a positive influence, coach and mentor
• A skilled communicator with a proven ability to build positive relationships.
