Overview
An exceptional opportunity to become the inaugural Clinical Manager for a brand-new, state-of-the-art care home in a charming town just outside of Auckland. We are seeking someone who displays leadership, business acumen, and a strong clinical skillset across aged care nursing (preferably in a New Zealand setting).

Responsibilities
As Clinical Manager, you will set up and lead clinical services for the onsite care home, key duties will include:

  • Taking the lead on MoH audit preparation and ongoing compliance
  • Reporting to and supporting the Village Manager while owning all clinical outcomes
  • Networking and collaborating with local health providers and fostering community partnerships
  • Participate in care-suite sales and obtaining referrals
  • Recruiting and developing a care team of RNs and HCAs
  • On-call responsibilities, with time shared with the Senior RN

Experience & Requirements
Candidates MUST:

  • Hold a current APC with the NZNC
  • Bring strong business acumen with experience in compliance, audits, and budgets
  • Exhibit proven experience in clinical leadership, healthcare service setup, and team building
  • Display excellent interpersonal and networking skills-ability to sell Care Suites and build relationships

Successful candidates will preferably have:

  • Previous MOH audit experience
  • Background in aged or residential care
  • Established connections with local primary health and specialist services
