Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waikato is seeking Clinical Engineering, Biomedical and Electronics Technicians to join our expanding department at Waikato Hospital. The role covers maintenance and repair of a wide range of medical devices across the Waikato district.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team ensuring safety, function and performance of equipment, with opportunities for professional development and career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in repair and maintenance of medical devices.
• Diploma or bachelor’s in electronic engineering or equivalent trade certification.
• Ability to work in a team with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Routine and preventive maintenance of medical equipment.
• Corrective maintenance and fault finding of medical devices.
• Commissioning and installation of new medical equipment.
