As Clinical Administrative Support in the Emergency Department, you will be working within a multi-disciplinary team including doctors, nurses, other clinical professionals and administration staff.
Your primary responsibility will be for reception and administration duties to enable the smooth flow of patients through the department, including ensuring patient documentation is maintained and up to date. In return you'll enjoy support from the team, a collegial working environment.
This is a permanent, part-time position working 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE), rostered and rotating shifts, Monday to Sunday. There is no on-call required.
We are looking for applicants who would enjoy the variety of shift work, and who are happy to work on a rostered and rotating basis. During the training phase it will be important that you are available to train across all shifts.
The Emergency Department Administration team provides essential support to one of the hospital's busiest services. Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the team works closely with clinical staff to ensure patients receive timely and efficient care.
