Auckland Radiation Oncology (ARO) is seeking an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to support us in our mission to deliver outstanding healthcare to cancer patients. Our main campus is in Epsom, Auckland, with a new satellite centre opening on the North Shore in 2025. The role:

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate communication with Radiation Oncologists, and facilitating a seamless treatment experience for patients.

What we require:

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in treatment scheduling and patient care coordination within a clinical environment. Proficiency with PMR systems such as MOSAIQ and a solid understanding of medical terminology are essential.

And you’ll also bring:

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous and accurate in administrative tasks
  • Strong Communication: Effective collaboration with colleagues and compassionate communication with patients
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including coordinating multiple appointments and working to short deadlines
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Resourceful in finding solutions to challenges
  • Computer and clerical skills: Strong computer skills, including MS Office; previous clerical experience in healthcare is advantageous
  • Cultural Awareness: Respect for diversity and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in healthcare
