About The Mahi (Role)
Are you someone who enjoys dealing with people and being a welcoming face for your team? Do you take pride in your work and have high attention to detail and the ability to learn new processes and systems? Look no further… Kickstart and grow your medical administration career by joining our Blenheim Team as a Clinic Administrator in a full-time (40 hours) role.

You will be based at the TBI Blenheim Clinic, located within the Blenheim Health Hub, and share a reception space with the Health Hub administration team. You will be supported by the Upper South Island Regional Clinic Manager and the Clinic Administration Team Leader. Comprehensive training will be provided upon joining. This is a varied and fun role that you can make your own!

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Welcoming and assisting clients in person and over the phone
  • Supporting clinicians with diary and schedule management
  • Processing payments and managing invoicing
  • Purchasing clinic supplies
  • Administering ACC, insurer, and third-party contracts
  • Appointment booking, billing, welcoming clients, and general administration tasks

At TBI Health Blenheim, you will play a key role in supporting a small team of clinicians, including two Physiotherapists and one Occupational Therapist who are passionate about helping our clients achieve great outcomes. You will be working in one of New Zealand’s most beautiful regions, in a central CBD location with free on-street parking nearby. Bring your strong communication, organisation, and computer skills, along with a positive, can-do attitude, and join us in delivering quality healthcare for our Blenheim community.

Skills and Experiences

About You

Experience with the Gensolve practice management system is an advantage, and while two years of administration experience is desirable, it’s not essential. Most important is your positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to providing excellent customer service. To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Strong computer proficiency and accurate data entry
