Clayton Park Kindergarten in Manurewa is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a part-time role, supporting children aged 2 to 5 years in a warm, community-focused setting.

The position runs 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday (30 hours/week) with school holidays included, offering a well-resourced, supportive team environment and great hours for families. Applicants must reside in New Zealand and pass a Police Vet check.

Qualifications

Do you want to work for a community-based organisation that puts children before profit?

This part-time position requires the successful applicant to work with children aged between 2 to 5 years of age.

Hours are from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm – 30 hours per week including a half hour unpaid lunch break. This position includes working in the term breaks (school holidays).

We are seeking an unqualified teacher, who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and has a passion for providing respectful and responsive care and education to young children. Proven experience working with young children would be an advantage.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
