Job summary

A primary and intermediate school in Wellington is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated classroom teacher for 2026. Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated classroom teacher to join our team for 2026 from the beginning of term 1. Kapakapanui School is a fantastic kura with a welcoming staff, supportive whānau, and a strong sense of community.

We are looking for a kaiako who is passionate about supporting tamariki to discover their strengths and passions, while nurturing their growth as learners and empowering them to make a positive difference in our community. This position will be either in Y3–4 or in a collaborative Y5–6 teaching pod.

• Experience and/or knowledge of BSLA
