Applicants must hold a current NZ work visa.

About our school

We believe we have one of the best views in NZ! On one side, we have the great Southern Alps and on the other, the Pacific Ocean - it’s quite breathtaking on a clear day!

We are an International Baccalaureate (IB) school committed to delivering the New Zealand Curriculum through the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework. Our approach is centred on rigorous inquiry, balanced with structured literacy and numeracy learning experiences. You do not need prior experience within the IB to apply for this role.

Mt Pleasant School is deeply committed to highly collaborative approaches to teaching and learning. You will help continue to cultivate strong, positive relationships across our very supportive school community, including ākonga, kaiako/kaimahi, and whānau.

If you are a motivated and inspiring kaiako who is ready to make a significant impact, we encourage you to apply.
