As an integrated Special Character area school with a strong and vibrant Lower School environment, we seek an enthusiastic, inspiring and creative teacher with a deep interest in Steiner/Waldorf education.

Our ideal applicant will be strong both academically and artistically and have a high level of expertise in meeting the needs of a diverse range of learners. They will be able to foster a love of learning in children and create a positive and healthy social dynamic within the class.

New Zealand teacher registration is required.

Taikura was founded in 1950 and was the first Steiner/Waldorf School to be established in Aotearoa New Zealand. We are located in the heart of Hastings, Hawkes Bay.

Taikura has a roll of around 340 students from kindergarten through to Class 12 (Y13).
