Job summary

EQUIP Recruitment – Christchurch, South Island is seeking an experienced Class 5 HIAB Driver to join a busy team based in Hornby. This hands-on role requires operating a HIAB/crane and delivering safely while assisting with loading and unloading.

You will drive Class 5 HIAB trucks, secure loads, perform vehicle checks and maintain paperwork, working with various teams and customers in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Current NZ Class 5 Driver Licence.
• Proven HIAB/crane operating experience.
• Good understanding of load security.
• Reliable, punctual and safety focused.
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous civil, construction or freight experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Driving Class 5 HIAB trucks safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their way around a heavy vehicle and is confident operating a HIAB/crane.

You’ll be responsible for safe and efficient deliveries while also assisting with loading and unloading.
