Allied Petroleum Ltd, part of the H W Richardson Group, is seeking a Class 5 Driver in Dunedin. The role involves a 5-day day shift roster with occasional overnight and Saturday deliveries to commercial and farm customers around Central Otago, based out of Dunedin.

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years Class 5 experience and a commitment to safety, with duties including pre-shift checks, loading, driving and unloading, plus ensuring documentation is in order.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Class 5 experience.
• Must follow safety rules and procedures.
• Pre-shift checks, loading, driving and unloading procedures.
• Keep trucks and tankers clean and tidy and carry required documents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with Fleet Operations
• Understand and follow APL defensive driving principles
• Ensure trucks and tankers are kept clean and tidy to set standards
• Ensure vehicles carry all required documentation by law
• Follow procedures for pre-shift checks, loading, driving and unloading
