Job summary

Freight Haulage Limited in Invercargill is seeking an experienced Class 5 Driver to join our General Cartage team. This full-time role operates from Invercargill with hours 6.00am–6.00pm, Monday to Saturday, and pay of $31.00–$33.00 per hour.

You will drive trucks and trailers, perform safety checks and ensure NZTA compliance. You will need a current NZ Class 5 Licence, heavy vehicle experience, and the ability to work across customer sites while maintaining safety and accurate logbooks.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Zealand Class 5 Driver Licence.
• Demonstrated experience operating Class 5 heavy vehicles/truck and trailer units.
• Sound understanding of NZTA regulations, logbook and work-time requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck and trailer units safely and in line with company procedures.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and maintain logbooks/work-time records.
• Work across customer sites delivering reliable service to clients.
