Job summary

AWF Limited in Hawke's Bay is seeking a reliable Class 4 Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe transport of goods and equipment, maintaining compliance with NZ road rules and company policies, and delivering excellent service to clients.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current New Zealand Class 4 Driver Licence.
• Clean driving record with no major incidents.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 4 vehicles in accordance with New Zealand road laws.
• Conduct daily pre-start and post-trip inspections.
• Load, unload and secure freight or equipment safely.
• Complete delivery and collection documentation accurately.
• Ensure freight is delivered on time and in good condition.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report defects.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients and site personnel.
• Adhere to customer site requirements and safety protocols.
• Manage schedules while complying with driving hour regulations.
• Assist with yard or warehouse duties when required.
