Responsibilities

MOVe Group is seeking a reliable and professional Class 4 Driver to join our growing team in Hamilton, Central Waikato. This is a full-time position based in the Hamilton Central Waikato area, where you will play a vital role in our road transport operations. As a Class 4 Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and passengers whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety. This role is essential to our day-to-day operations and directly contributes to our commitment to delivering excellent service to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Class 4 vehicles safely and professionally in compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies
• Transport goods and passengers to specified destinations whilst maintaining schedules and meeting delivery deadlines
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and report any defects or maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate logbooks and records of journeys, including fuel consumption and mileage
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported in accordance with legal requirements
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanour with clients and colleagues
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company protocols
• Support the broader operations team to ensure efficient and effective transport services

What we’re looking for

• Valid New Zealand Class 4 Driver Licence with a clean driving record
• Proven experience driving Class 4 vehicles in commercial or professional settings
• Strong knowledge of road safety rules, traffic regulations and defensive driving techniques
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and meet tight schedules
