Job description

We currently have a Class 2 driver position available for our Christchurch Branch.

Stones Fabric is a leading Textile recycler in New Zealand with over 40 years of experience in the industry, processing and recycling over a million kilograms of clothing and textiles every year. This role has a vast variety of different tasks, everyday is different.

The Role

Full time, approximately 35 hours a week, 5 days a week, Sunday to Thursday, with the opportunity to pick up extra hours.

Maintaining and emptying some of the Plunket clothing bins around Christchurch using a class 2 truck.

Some warehouse work and customer deliveries where needed.

What You Will Bring to the Role

• Valid Class 2 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physically fit to be able to move heavy bales and bags.
• Good knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proven ability to ensure tasks are completed in full and on time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A positive and energetic work ethic.
