Job summary

OneStaff is seeking a reliable Class 1 Delivery Driver in Wellington, NZ to join our client's team and support local deliveries.

You will drive a Class 1 van or truck, load and secure goods, check paperwork, deliver on time, provide friendly customer service and follow health and safety requirements. Applicants must hold a Class 1 NZ Driver Licence, be physically fit, know local roads, and be punctual and safety‑minded. This role offers varied assignments across industries.

Qualifications

• Current Class 1 NZ Driver Licence.
• Previous experience driving a Class 1 van or truck is required.
• Good knowledge of local roads.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 van or truck to deliver goods to customers and businesses.
• Load, secure and unload goods safely.
• Complete deliveries on time and provide friendly customer service.
• Check delivery paperwork and ensure orders are delivered correctly.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any issues.
• Follow all health and safety requirements.
