Job summary

Farmers Trading Company Ltd in New Zealand is seeking a Beauty Advisor to represent Clarins across skincare, makeup and fragrance. You will perform makeup applications, skincare consultations and build a loyal client base while achieving sales targets.

This is a permanent part-time position with a fixed roster: Tuesday 10:00–18:15, Thursday 10:45–21:15, Friday 10:00–17:15 and Saturday 10:00–18:15. Benefits include staff discounts, full induction and training, and access to health insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or hospitality with sales targets.
• Passion for Beauty and helping customers feel great.
• Strong communication, in-store and over the phone.
• Beauty therapy certificate or diploma is advantageous.

This is a permanent part-time position. The successful candidate will work the following roster:

• Tuesday:10am - 6:15pm
• Thursday: 10:45am - 9:15pm
• Friday: 10am - 5:15pm
• Saturday: 10am - 6:15pm

The Role:

Working with this prestigious Brand as a Beauty Advisor is an opportunity for you to showcase your talents, from makeup application, skincare consultations and diagnosing skincare concerns, this role offers it all and you can positively impact your customers and spread joy, who wouldn't want to do that on a daily basis?! This role is varied and will require you to:

• Create and build a clientele where you will be their trusted Advisor.
• Collaborate with the Counter Manager, Beauty Sales Manager and Brand Manager to grow your business and reach your full potential.
• Be confident in applying products, recommending products and closing the sale.
• Share your passion for the Brand and all their exciting offerings.

About You:

We are seeking a Beauty Advisor to join our team who has:

• Experience working in a retail or hospitality environment and achieving sales targets.
• A passion for all things Beauty and helping our customers feel great about themselves.
• Strong communication skills, enabling you to approach customers in-store & via telephone in a confident friendly manner to determine how to provide a rewarding customer experience.
• A beauty therapy certificate or diploma would be advantageous.
