Job summary

Tower, Auckland, is seeking a Head of Claims Operations to lead claims delivery across New Zealand and the Pacific, including the Suva Hub. You will drive operating rhythms, performance insights and ensure a fair, efficient claims experience for customers and communities.

You will lead teams, collaborate with cross‑functional partners, and use data to identify opportunities to improve quality, cost and service while shaping the future of insurance operations in a large, fast‑moving environment.

Qualifications

• Senior operational leadership experience in claims, insurance operations or regulated financial services.
• Ability to analyse data and insights to drive improvements.
• Collaborative leadership across multiple teams and locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee claims operations across New Zealand and the Suva Hub, ensuring efficient, consistent and fair outcomes.
• Create strong operating rhythms, performance measures and ways of working that improve quality, productivity and customer experience.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across Risk, Legal, Finance and Technology to remove blockers and deliver joined‑up outcomes.
