Civil & Structures Manager

This position is ideal for a technically adept professional with a passion for mentoring and leading a team, while contributing to an exciting portfolio of civil and structural projects.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role combining technical delivery with team leadership. The Auckland team thrives on delivering quality projects on time and within budget, spanning areas such as coastal infrastructure, urban and rural developments, roading revetments, slip remediation, and commercial and residential projects.

While the role is primarily office-based, there’s flexibility to work from home when necessary. The team fosters a collaborative, supportive culture where success is shared, and contributions are valued.

About You

You bring a diverse skill set and thrive on tackling a range of project types, with a particular interest in geology and structural challenges. Confident and decisive, you’re adept at managing projects of varying sizes and enjoy client engagement. You’re also a natural mentor, helping your team grow in both knowledge and capability.

Qualifications & Experience
  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  2. At least five years of experience working with New Zealand standards, and eligibility for local authority registration.
  3. Chartered status is highly advantageous.
