Job summary

Rightmove is seeking reliable drivers and WTR operators for ongoing civil projects in Christchurch and surrounding areas. Roles include class 2/4/5 truck driving and plant operation with a secure forward workload.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 17:00; starting pay of $26.00 to $36.00 per hour depending on experience. PPE provided, with permanent roles for the right candidates and ongoing support from the Rightmove Team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in civil construction driving or labouring.
• Current Class 2/4/5 driver's licence and WTR endorsements.
• Strong communication and reliability; punctual and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Operate class 2/4/5 trucks and/or plant equipment on civil projects.
• Coordinate with team members and site workers.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental practices.

The Role:

We are working with some good civil companies that require class 2, class 4 and class 5 drivers'/ WTR operators for ongoing projects in Christchurch and surrounding areas.

The companies have secure forward workload of varied civil, earth moving and landscaping projects.

Hours of work will normally be Monday to Friday 07:00am to 5:00pm.

Starting pay will be $26.00 to $36.00 per hour, depending on your experience and skills.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 6 months experience as a Labourer, Plant Operator and/or Class 2/ Class 4/class 5 Truck Drivers in the civil construction industry
• Relevant qualifications and licenses, including a current Class 2/ Class 4/5 Driver's Licence & WTRs endorsements
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and site workers from other trades
• Always reliable and punctual
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and take pride in your work
• Ready to hit the ground running and get amongst it
• Ensuring all workplace health and safety and environmental practices are adhered to at all times
• A background in civil construction, drainage or bulk earthworks is preferred but not essential
• Clean DT and Clean MOJ and own reliable vehicle to get to work.
